I'm no popcorn expert

Let's face it: Making popcorn isn't for the weak, the stupid or the faint of heart. It's a complicated process that draws on more than one of your senses.

puppy vs. dyslexia- against all todds

recorded in 2005, with final tracks added and mixed in 2011, and now finally released in 2013 thanks to magnetic south!

good times...deck your tape.

from magnetic south:

artist: Puppy vs. Dyslexia
title: Against All Todds
format: C66 [TYPE I - pro-dubbed]
released: 05/23/13

Magnetic South is pleased to present the (mostly) first time packaging of inscrutable Kentuckianian rare birds' 2005 studio work. Puppy inhabited it's own relentlessly google-eyed un-naturalist universe haunted by nude, Lisa Frank-headed contortionists where ritualistic sensibilities blurred the boundaries of sexual horror and adorable fluffs. The sound of depraved children blasted by speedy acid, boredom, and Boredoms that escaped to develop a unique lexicon of manic trance and transformational shamanic hootenanny.

Glossy full color double-sided insert & pro-dubbed clear cassette with white imprint inside clear hardshell case.

doing cartwheels on sugarcubes

Things like the recent death of Ray Manzarek, the Source Family documentary, and other events ended me up in a spree of watching old episodes of Dragnet...especially episodes that involve sub-culture.

From the ridiculous and improbable situations, to the amped-up lingo, all filtered through white bread, it holds a bounty of commentary, ready for harvest and reinterpretation.

Never been much of a fan of The Doors (think Love kinda conquered that territory in a better fashion), but Mr. Manzarek was a true taser master. Something I heard him say in an interview, kinda zapped me. I'm not gonna repeat it here
